What's on the Menu
Hellooo Nice! We start this culinary journey at the sparkling Mediterranean with Fougasse (fragrant orange blossom bread) and some enthralling history of the region. You'll get a superb view of the Baie des Anges and Castle Hill before we check out some optical illusions.
We pop into a characterful Olive Oil shop from 1932 to scoop up the best gourmet olives in town as well as another classic of the region that is made with Menton lemons. After some more amusing discoveries we sit down to enjoy these treasures at a table outside.
At the famed Cours Saleya Market, in between stalls piled high with flowers, feast on seasonal fruit and local specialities like Socca. You'll love the artists, the scent of lavender and herbs, flanked by Castle Hill, cafes and restaurants. Lively and colourful!
Take in a rich mix of cultural, historic and architectural experiences right in the heart of Nice's historic quarter. The Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and aristocracy all left their mark. Later came writers, artists and film stars who gave Nice a legacy of culture and opulence.
In the the wine shop you'll enter another world and learn the secret of buying cheap, yet good wine! You'll find out why local Rosé is so popular and why it tastes different to other countries.
For your pleasure we've chosen three artisanal cheeses, two types of charcuterie (cured meats) and lots of delectable nibbles. Along the way you'll be immersed in local culture, and by the end of the tour you'll have surrendered to the mystique of La Bella Nissa!
Each stop is an experience on it’s own, you’ll hear stories about the people, traditions and food. Savour hand crafted chocolate almonds and candied fruit (using the traditional method from 1340) at the splendid shop started in 1820 where Kings and Queens took afternoon tea.
You'll feel like you're at a French family meal at this restaurant which has been serving locals since 1860. Sip chilled AOP Rosé paired with a selection of freshly prepared Niçoise specialities honoring the Comté de Nice recipe book!

The chef wants you to know that the most important thing is to respect the seasons and the origins, quality and freshness of the ingredients. Though simple to prepare, these recipes do require time, patience, a touch of daring, experience, a hint of sensuality and lots of love... In short, a fine art!

One of the greatest pleasures is a sweet treat and we mix it up with two concoctions, the first one (with our coffees) will have your taste buds running wild and the finale will be sumptuous Gelato in the vibrant square Place Rossetti.
